When Porsche chose Dunlop to develop a tire that would form a perfect fit for her 991 911 GT3 and GT2 RS, important requirements were made. To achieve the ultimate lap time, a tire with extreme grip on dry surface is needed.
The Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2 is designed to give drivers intense grip in dry conditions. Additionally you can expect an extraordinary balance while cornering under high G-forces. This tire was developed especially for high-performance sports cars therefore the range was extended in 2022 to provide for the 718 Cayman GT4 RS. Its ability to perform on the road and track is ideal for the track-orientated Cayman GT4 RS. The range-topping Cayman combines the racing prowess of Porsche’s motorsport division with the refinement of the popular 718-series.
With the Sport Maxx Race 2 every move is under control – tested and approved on regular roads, but also on various racetracks including the notorious Nürburgring.
