Description
Dunlop’s involvement in motor racing goes back to the earliest days of the sport. It has been and still is a vital part of the vintage and historic racing world. Its classic racing designs are the MSA-specified tires at popular events such as the Goodwood Revival. The full range of tires covers many eras of the sport.
The CR82 was developed from the CR65 in 1968, and was fairly conservative in comparison to the rapid development of new construction methods and tire-shape by other manufacturers. It, and its CR84 development, were the last hurrah of treaded tires in F1, as the slick was in the wings.
As a post-historic racing tire type, it’s sizing differs to earlier racing tires.
The CR82 is a post-historic race tire and uses the ‘484’ compound.
Please note that these tires are not road-legal.
